I just watched it yesterday because I'm watching all the John Winchester episodes before 4.19.

JDM definitely set the stage for all other actors on how to play Azazel.

I think the people who had played YED were amazing unlike some other demons (cough ruby cough) But JDM was awesome at playing YED. What gets me that Dean knew his daddy was acctually YED cause he said he was proud. Sniff. Hahaha.

Yea . . . I thought that was interesting too.
I think one of the most memorable scenes in Supernatural history is that standoff between John/Azazel and the brothers.
It was definitely ironic considering what we had been progressing to that season.
It got me excited for season 2

I always get the chills when John (YED) says "I THOUGHT SO"
And then we see him with yellow eyes! So freaking awesome!
I believe JDM's voice gets even deeper when he plays the YED!!!!
