Last Reaper Sighting?

Postby joebolin on Sat Feb 14, 2009 5:00 am

When was the last time we saw a reaper in an episode of Supernatural? Season 1's "Faith" is still among my favorite episodes because of the way it explored gray moral areas in the boys' lives and it featured a reaper. Also, the season 2 ("In My Time of Dying") premiere featured a reaper attempting to steal Dean's soul. Will Sam be called on to again defeat a reaper in this episode? I hope not...it's Dean's turn.

It has been a while since we've seen a Reaper. I almost thot we had left them behind, but I'm glad to see them back.

I almost wonder what role we will see these mysterious reapers in this time around. Hmmmm . . . .

Some more interesting news about this episode is that it will dedicated to the late Supernatural producer and TV vet Kim Manners. From what I'm hearing, the episode will conclude with a 10-second photomontage followed by a brief message.

So that'll be good . . .

On Pam's death: WHYYYYYY?????? She was ultra cool. Plus, she didn't JUST die a really sad death, but 'hello, guilt'!!! Like the boys didn't have enough to begin with. Although I love having her call them out on their crap. Their Angel/Demon dealio isn't a game, it's deadly serious, and having her death seem like just another casualty (a REALLY REALLY heart-breaking casualty that we happened to CARE A LOT about) made the perfect point.

On Sam's lies: So you all remember that scene in the Pilot, when Sam and Dean are talking to the cops about the string of missing guys on that one highway, and Dean says something that makes Sam stomp on his foot, then they walk away and Dean smacks him upside the head? Yeah well that's exactly wana do to Sam right now-- Smack him upside the head! Oh, the lying. Straight to Dean's face. C'mon. That hurt more than when he had to lie to Cole. Ouch.

On Sam's Powers: One word: Creep-tastic. The Alistair-flinging creeped me out the most. Ok, so YAY we finally get some Alistair butt-whopping, but *shivers* seeing him fling him like that, the way we've only seen Demons do is making me worry big-time for Sam in future episodes.

On Dean and Tessa: *clears throat*
Dear Dean,
Saying you wished you never came back to life the last time you met Tessa KILLS ME. Don't ever mention it again, pwetty pwease. I would love to keep what's left of my mental health intact. And tell that brother of your to stop the flinging of people across rooms. It creeps me out.
Yours pleadingly,
Lovebanshee.

On Alistair: DUDE. YOU GOT SMITTEN. BY ANGELS... AWESOME!!!
