That's right!
Although I'm sure we'll get our healthy dose of unanswered questions in this episode as well... Demons looove to fool with our heads, don't they?

I love wondering at this title. 'On the Head of a Pin'... who is the one 'On The Head of a Pin'? Seems like a terribly precarious place to be... on the edge of a dangerous precipice. Could it be our boys? They BOTH look like they're going over the deep end, especially with what is shown in the Canadian OTHoaP Promo!

This episode's on tomorrow! *jumps around*

I've Got Chills They're Multiplying

Postby Knightmist on Fri Mar 20, 2009 2:55 am

Ok enough with the bad Grease song lyric for the subject and I have to say tonights episode was just WOW!. I'll try not to give to much away as I hate spoilers and will try to avoid that.

First off, this episode filled in so many questions I've had throughout this season. It was great to see how things are progressing for first the brothers and to get a hint of what both are capable of.

The fact we got to see a "fallen" friend from a past episode and his/her impact on the outcome of the episode was also quite chilling.

The chills started when we got to see a bit more of the dynamics of the Angels. I was happy to get a rough idea on their numbers and the possible politics that are involved.

I also enjoyed the actor playing Alistair as I've seen him on 2 of my favorite shows Stargate and Sanctuary.

The thing that hit me the most was a discussion between to of the Angels and a talk on the Biggest Fallen angle their was. Some of the items came right out of a special I saw on the History Channel involving the books that where left out of the bible. Seeing that the writers had Really done their homework on this plot line was just AMAZAING.

I was and I mean "WAS" playing City of Heroes when the episode started but did not go back to the game till after the show was over. I turned and found that my character had been ambushed after selecting a mission and I was dead. It was somewhat IRONIC as the character I was playing well he has wings, and after hitting 36 months I was awarded a pet demon. Hmm Interesting.

Welcome to the forums Knight. CoH eh? I used to play that all the time when that game first came out. Glad to see people are still playing. :)

May I just say WOAH!

Did anyone else see Ruby's face when Sam was drinking her gooey goodness? Something is seriously up with this chick.
And whats with Sam being so open about his powers in front of Cas.
And Dean all broken just like he was when his dad sould his soul. However I am glad to have seen that they answered the question about John in hell.
But Supernatural is always and forever FTW

I was thinking the same thing... except more in terms of "That Female Dog!"
ARGH. Ruby was so infuriating in this episode.. was it just me, or did she call him "Sammy Winchester"???? I guess I'll have to watch the episode again.

Poor Uriel... but then again, I never did like him.

Yeah I wasnt a fan on U dog either. However I did like the quote from Cas about Uriel being the funniest angel in heaven or something like that. It made me chuckle.
Thinking about it now, it looks like its going to be a three way war.
Winchesters vs Hell vs Bad Angels
Not to mention what ever is in store for Sammy.

And yes Ruby did call him Sammy. That sadistic female dog. I would love to see an Anna and Ruby show down

Oh, yeah! I did love the way Castiel said it so seriously, "Uriel is the funniest angel in the garrison...." hahahaha. And I thoroughly enjoyed the way that they used the word garrison extensively in the episode. Garrison. Garrison.. garrisongarrisongarrison. lol

ACK! Anna would SO kick Ruby's little demon butt.

What an episode!

Postby joebolin on Sun Mar 22, 2009 4:11 am

From the opening shot of Cas at the site of the angel's murder (black wings spread out to each side of the victim) until the final shot of Yuriel lying dead on the floor, also with his wings outspread, this was an amazing episode! Kinda scary for our heroes when Yuriel says that he only killed the angels who said, "No." Sounds like there may be many in the garrison who said "Yes" to his plan to help with Lucifer's return. Also, very interesting that Cas' first emotion was doubt...a serious problem for a being whose very existence depends on belief!

Tim, how did you feel about the violence? I thought it bordered on a slasher film, or one of those torture-porn movies like "Saw" (never seen one, but I don't like the idea of torture, much less watching it).

Waiting for next Thursday ('cept I record and watch the episode on Friday, so I guess I'm really waiting for next Friday...but you know what I mean).

I realised that all of the fans seem to love this ep however, the winchester brothers are only in it for about half of the ep.
Does this mean we will have some more castiel based eps in the future?

Sam & Dean will always be at the forefront of everything because it is after all, their story. But, Castiel has been and will be such a big part of the season (and the rest of the series for that matter) I wouldn't be surprised to see him becoming the third main character of the show. He could possibly surpass Bobby in that role.

I am a Castiel fan-girl... BUT NO, I WILL NOT STAND FOR BOBBY DOWN-GRADING.
