So you know how I said I wasn't going to be all spoilerific about the episodes after the break? That I wasn't gonna go looking for them? FATE doesn't want me to, apparently. Arg. I was rewatching TMaTEoTB on Space and this promo just started playing after the episode. It's unusual to see a SPN trailer on TV, SPN's not advertised as much, so it was a surprise to me and I was a deer caught in headlights watching it (1 because it was a shock and 2 because it was AWESOME!!!). I didn't figure they'd have a promo already for an episode 2 weeks away!

The brother sure looks like the real deal! Down to the wardrobe! I think I have a new theory about him. What if he IS their real brother? We know he is gone after one episode. Dies, probably. Do you know what that would do to Sam and Dean if he WAS their brother and doesn't know about these monsters/hunting life, and when Sam and Dean show up in his life, apparently wanting to tell him about what's out there, something bad happens to him because of it? ie He DIES? We have some fractured psyches, and some broken hearts, that's what.

And I think I heard something about how Adam might be turning into something not-so-good. As in something like a Ruguru/vampire/werewolf/creature of the like. Another really terrible thing would be that Sam and dean would be forced to kill him because of it.

Seems like any way you look at it, this episode is gonna be big. I'm not exactly saying it's gonna get the evil!Sam ball rolling, but it's definitely not going to help, if Adam does turns out to be their REAL brother.

I'm so exited for this episode, I can't wait to find out more about Adam and his mother.

No, I guess Mary was already dead, otherwise Adam couldn't be 19.

I am thinking Trickster. To show Sam and Dean how much they mean to eachother or something

Man I really hope the Trickster comes back sometime (s5, make it so! ) because this is the second time this season (the alternate universe in IaTL and now the possibly fake brother in JTS) that we felt the Trickster could be involved.

On another note, it wouldn't be completely wrong to say that it's the angels again. So we have: *drumrolls*
A) Adam is the real deal and he's probably dead by the end of the episode
B) he's a trick perpatrated by demons and not exactly real
C) he's a kind of lesson perpatrated by the angels and not exactly real
D) the TRICKSTER (\o/) comes back for another go at the Winchesters

That being said he probably lives.
I think what will happen is something will Happen where Dean will have to choose to save Sam or Adam. Clearly he will choose Sam and then Adam will turn into good old Trickster and be all like 'your in this together the bad guys know that your fracturing ect ect' Dean will try and kill him and he will vanish again. Cause thats what he does best.

I want to say "Trckster," because everything I hear about this episode seems to lend credence to that theory, but like we said in this week's show . . . WE HAVE NO IDEA!

I don't know when this has ever happened in Supernatural history when we just had expectations and don't know whether they could be wrong or right! I have absolutely no idea what to expect!

That made me crack up so much but at the same time, it's so very true. Ah Supernatural, see what you do to us? You really can't have any expectations, because if you do, you can expect SPN to break them in the most awesome way possible. In short, don't expect anything. Like Tim and Ty said in the most recent podcast, you can't come into an episode thinking it's going to be one thing, because then it ends up being something completely different. SPN loves to surprise. And hey, I loved being surprised. Bring it on.

Oh but if it is the Trickster, man is he going to get a lot of not-so-warm feelings directed at him by Sam and Dean at the end of that episode. Like that's kinda cruel: "You got a brother, you come to love him and hope all around, then BAM he's gone, or he's dead (well, fake dead, since he technically wasn't real in the first place)." But that's just the Trickster, isn't it? Chaos and all that. That's why I find it a little harder to think it could be the angels. *shrugs*

SPN, I am ready to be surprised!

Just realized something new about this 3rd brother! Nothing official, but I looked into Adam's name and all because names are sometimes very significant in the SPN-verse. I was reading my Western Religions textbook for class, and, well, we know characters on SPN have had biblical names (John, Mary, others I can't think of right now) and we could think of Adam getting his name from the 'Adam and Eve' Adam, right? I read this:

"Thus midrash discusses such possibilities as Eve being Adam's second wife; the first, Lilith, who was the unsatisfactory wife eventually figures as a demon."

And that kinda veers me towards the 'Adam could be a demony-type trick' theory. Just the fact that Adam was mentioned being with Lilith at all makes me wary at what SPN might do with that. Actually, I just love that Lilith was mentioned in my textbook at all, it made that lecture so much more intresting! It's like I was learning about what SPN could be drawing their info from. My brain is really reaching out to any possibilities right now. Must, stop, thinking.

Ahaha lilith got dumped no wonder she is such a B.

I am acctually looking foward to this ep much more than I thought I would. Maybe cause I think good old Tricky is coming back. Who knows.

I just wanna see the Winchester's reactions if it is a Trick. I reckon Dean will be all angry and Sam will be like 'Helz yeah I can go back to drinking demon blood through a crazy straw.'

I'm curious if you're right. I don't think they will bring back the Trickster in this episode. I love the guy but I suspect Adam's mother will be some kind of weird monster that tricks the boys and Adam doesn't even know that he is part monster. Can't wait for this episode and to find out more about Adam and his background!
No matter if the trickster shows up or not, I'm sure Adam dies at the end of the episode! I could be wrong but I actually HOPE he dies because I don't want to see Bobby die in one of the April episodes.

So..... Adam died, no trickster and he was a monster but that wasn't the real Adam. Wow! I really liked the episode and Adam. It was really sad that the poor kid died before EVER meeting Sam and Dean!
