In "Devil's Trap", when Sam, Dean, and John were in the car and got hit by the semi, was there anyone else that was really just worried about the car?

When that happened, all I could think was about the Impala. Not to say I didn't care about the Winchesters who were injured inside the car because I did. I knew they were going to bounce back though because they couldn't just die because then there would be no series. It would have been ironic if the CW merge came after season 1 and then the show would have been cut. I'm glad to say that wasn't the case but having them get hit by a car and not knowing what happens next would really suck.

Anyways back to the car. After I came out of shock of what I had just seen all I could think was "Oh my God! THE CAR! DEAN IS GUNNA BE PISSED NEXT SEASON!" Was anyone else thinking that? I just wanted to know if I was alone in the thought or not. It was a really amazing way to end a first season to a show. I don't think I've ever seen a first season as strong as Supernatural's was. I never expected that happening.

I was on the edge of my seat when that car got totaled, and I was like, "WHAT THE HECK!!!???"

Def had me grabbed. Couldn't believe it happened!

This certainly was one of the best cliffhangers I've ever seen from a show. And I watch a lot of shows, nowadays!

When I watched this episode for the first time, I didn't even know the characters, what the exact circumstances were, or anything (I watched season one on TV very disjointedly... I might have been watching reruns of various episodes. Plus, it was a long time ago), and it still surprised me so darn much. There was no warning that the truck was coming-- I mean, Sam was in mid-sentence, then BLAM!

Poor Impala. I hadn't watched most of that season though, so the Impala back then was more of a second thought ... I was worrying about the guys in the car! Now that I own the season, I was able to see just how much of a character the Impala is, and (since I knew that the boys were obviously not going to die cuz I had caught up to the other seasons) I was mortified that it got totally pulverized!

But Sam and Dean fixed her. And we will love them forever for it.
