End of season theories..

Postby HunterCast on Thu Nov 22, 2007 4:59 am

If show gets picked up - Ruby gets Dean out of the deal and the brothers end up with a "re-precaution" cliffhanging ending.

If show gets canned - Sam kills himself before he can go totally evil, Like what Gordon planned on doing and Deans deal reaches the end and they both end up in hell, Fighting demons together as brothers.

What do you guys think?

After watching this weeks ep. I have had a new theory. Well one that we have thought for a while but something to back it up.

Uriel said 'only an angel can kill an angel'
Wouldnt Big L still be considered an angel even if he did fall, so if he rises wont Dean need to become one to killl him?

Now THATS something to ponder... I'm wondering if he rises, will he be a smokey cloud that possesses humans like the demons we've seen? He would need to be if the whole 'Lucifer will be possesing Sam's body' thing were to happen. Unless angels can do that to... switch bodies at will except not as smoky smoke, but as light like we saw with Anna in 'Heaven and Hell'. On the other hand, if he were an angel, and Dean is apparently the only one that can stop the apocalypse... woah. Wonder how people can become angels?

I've been wondering about this for some time and haven't been able to come up with a concrete explanation.

I want to say the opposite of Hell, but not sure.

Man, having Dean experience BOTH Hell and Heaven? Cool. Talk about two opposite sides of a coin (in a single season, too!).

I don't know where to post this exactly, but is Supernatural taking another hiatus any time before the end of the season? Or are they going straight to 4x22 without interuptions?

They are taking a 2-week hiatus after next week's episode, and then we will be going straight from 4x19 to 4x22!

Bah! 2 weeks is nothing! Well, compared to the 4 week hellatus (aka hiatus aka break aka b*$%k [for explanation on this, see thread: http://crossroadscast.freeforums.org/4x ... 7.html#685   Ty is so totally right.] ) we had after Sex and Violence!

And as much as I'm going to be itching to peek at spoilers for the bout of episodes after the break, I'm gonna try my very best to steer clear of them! Yup that's right, I'm going spoiler-cold-turkey! Hmm... don't know how long that will last, me knowing me, but I really really want to be surprised at these last episodes... with the way the show has been going so far, I'm sure I'll be completely floooored. That is, if I manage to keep away from those darn amazing promos...

Ok, maybe I'll let the promos slide... might watch those. (gah I'm already breaking! ) But no episode clips. And no sides. For sure, I'll not read casting sides. :P

Although I've noticed that even though I do read spoilers, the episodes still find as many ways (too many ways, even) to surprise me, I never cease to be amazed. That's how cool SPN is.

Breaking already!? I am ashamed. lol
Yeah I donno about the spoilers for the last bit of the season. :S
I feel alot of the time they are put up there to miss lead (as mentioned in the crossroads a couple of weeks ago with all the talk that demons were killing Angels with big L's sward.)

Hi, After watching 4.16 I was confused. Was Uriel only using HIS sword or Lucifer's sword? They didn't mention if his sword was special or just his normal weapon for battle.

I know. *hangs head in shame*

About Lucifer's sword though, I don't think that was made clear, really... all spoilers said it was Lucifers sword, but no one actually mentioned this in the episode. Could it have been just an angel sword instead? Maybe we don't really know yet and are supposed to find out later in the season?

Although I kinda figure the angel-killing sword to be like Ruby's knife for demons. Exept apparently, you have to stab an angel specifically through the throat (blech) with it.

I was somehow amazed that Castiel and Anna didn't talk about the sword if it was so important. I mean, if it had been Lucifer's sword it would have been hard to get and the two should have been more suprised to see it, right?

It would be nice to know if the sword was as special as Ruby's knife or if every angel has a sword like Uriel. What if the angels can use their mojo (angel juice) to create a sword and gank other angels?

WEll if you remember in Heaven and Hell Dean was all like 'Is there a way to kill angels?' And Anna was like 'Yes but we cant get to it in time.'

Make of that of you will

So you think it could be really Lucifer's sword?

I wouldnt think so. But I was thinking about 'Hello God its me, Dean WInchester' and Didnt Cas say 'seven (i think that was the number) of my brothers have been killed in the battle field...'

If we listen to what that Uriel said ;an angel can only kill and angel.'

Were they (the angels) were fighting against their own even back then? Or did they just change their minds.

I guess they were also in Castiel's garrison and therefore killed by Uriel for not joining him. Uriel spoke of "SEVEN" angels that were killed, we only saw one dead angel in 4.16 so the other six could be the ones which Cas mentions in 4.02. Cas talks about SIX angels that have been killed in the field.

It seems like no demons can kill angels, Alistair said that he and Lilith don't know because if they did they would kill thousands of angels, so I guess it always has been Uriel who killed the other angels. Or only angel know how to kill other angels.

Maybe that's also the reason why the angels worry so much about Lucifer. He could have been the most powerful angel and therefore the others can't win in a fight against him because he can actually kill them and not just send them back to heaven like the demons.
