Kim Manners RIP

General discussion about Supernatural!

Kim Manners RIP

Postby Tim on Tue Jan 27, 2009 6:30 am

Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) recently posted on his myspace and facebook profiles that on January 25, 2009, Kim Manners died of lung cancer.

Fans of Supernatural may recognize him as he's directed more episodes of Supernatural than anyone on the show. He was a key figure in the production of Supernatural and was considered by Eric Kripke a "patriarch" of the show. He also directed 17 episodes out of the 72 that we have had so far. That is more than anybody on the show. His contribution to the show is felt.

He also is well known for his work on the cult TV-series, the X-Files. So he definitely earned his credibility in the genre-TV industry.

Our hearts go out to the Kim Manners' family.

You will be missed . . .
